One of my New Year's Resolutions is to continue to focus on my skincare regime and look and feel great! This is the sixth in a series on Product Tips for Luscious Lips. I will try to avoid specific product or brand recommendations, as there are countless products that can address most of these tips. Instead, my intent is to focus more on the product/technique to show you how each tip can help you create more luscious lips with any brand of your choice!

Luscious Lip Product Tip #6:
Use a lip stain for deep, dramatic color.
I love to use lip stains, as some will create a very saturated color. The color tends to appear a bit more like a natural color of your lips, as lip stains can be intense and will remain long after a lip gloss you applied over it wears off.
There are a variety of applications, and I tend to like the applications that don't involve using your fingers. I have actually found some to stain my finger tips as well!
Lip stains can be a bit more dry, so again, it is a great idea to apply a primer first to seal your lips. Or, finish with some moisturizing lip gloss. Some contain alcohol which helps the stain to dry quickly and to "pull" the color into your lips. If you have sensitive lips, a lip stain may not be an option for you.
